BANDING OF GRATING

钢格板的包边在钢格板深加工过程中是最大量的手工劳动，是智造钢格板的最大障碍。

什么叫包边，包边是在格栅板的端头，就是承载扁钢的端头，用扁钢固定起来。一个目的是装饰作用，另一个目的是通过包边板传递格栅板的荷载到支承结构上去。

我们把前者叫做装饰包边，后者叫做承载包边。

裁剪后的钢格板可以用焊接或者螺栓夹或者射钉等方法, 直接固定在支承结构上,不需要包边。当合同中没有明确规定时,制造商将不作任何包边而直接交付。

不支承荷载的包边,主要用于改善外观,称之为装饰包边。

装饰包边可以隔焊,并且不必全焊。

焊接方法可以是电阻焊、电弧焊、气焊、钎焊等。

承载扁钢下面没有支承,只能依靠包边的板或型钢传递格栅板的荷载到支承结构上去,这就是承载包边.

承载包边必须能够接受和转移格栅板的自重及外加荷载,为防止安全事故,必须每根承载扁钢都加以焊接,并且要由经过考评合格的熟练焊工进行操作。

承载包边如果使用L型或C型型材(角钢或者槽钢),包边可以按照装饰包边要求规定进行。

Banding is the most extensive manual labor in the process of manufacture of steel grating , it is the biggest obstacle of grating intelligent manufacturing.

What is the banding, in the end edge grating, bearing bars end is fixed with the flat bars.one purpose is to decorate the effect, another objective is transfer the load of grating to supporting structure by banding bar.

We put the former called trim bands, the latter is called the load-carrying bands .

After cutting the steel grating can be welded or bolted clips or jet nails,etc.directly fixed on the supporting structure, does not need the bands. Unless specifically ordered otherwise ,manufacturers will not be any banding direct delivery.

A band which carries no load , but is used chiefly to improve appearance. is called trim bands.

Trim banding not need every bars to welding, and do not have full welding.

The welding method can be resistance welding, arc welding, gas welding, brazing, etc..

Under the bearing bars no support,only rely on the banding bars to transfer grating load to the supporting structure. it is load-carrying bands .

The load-carrying bands must be able to accept and transfer the weight of grating and external load,in order to prevent accidents, must each bearing bars are welded, and to be operated by skilled welders are qualified after examination.

If use the L type or Ctype sections to banding (Angle or channel), can be band in accordance with of trim banding.
